Motorola HS850 Bluetooth Headset

$19+$4 ship - link

Condition: Brand New! Motorola HS850 Gray/Blue Headset.

Ships in non-retail packaging with all accessories included.

Motorola brings you a stylish, mobile and completely intuitive bluetooth cellular headset. The convenience of hands-free communication is clear. And, many states now require hands free operation if you want to talk on your cellphone while driving. The headset is super easy to operate and wear. Unfold the boom microphone, place the headset over your ear and a link is established automatically.

The HS850 has all the user-friendly features you could want and one button operation to answer, make or end calls. It's easy to store with the foldable microphone and is comfortable over your left or right ear. You can use the headset with any bluetooth enabled phone (most are) and it doesn't matter if you decide to get the next great phone from your carrier - your headset will go with you to that new phone.

This headset is so lightweight (less than 20g) that it's a dream to wear continually, and easy to take on or off if you prefer. Plenty of talk time at 8 hours and up to 200 hours of standby so you won't be reaching for the charger continually, which is important since you want it to be ready for your calls no matter what the time. Don't stop with just your cell phone; consider pairing the HS850 with your Bluetooth-enabled PC for great, hands-free Voice Over IP (VoIP) communications.

Motorola quality and design, this one is a great deal for anyone looking for a bluetooth headset packed with features at a low price.

These sell normally for $30-40 on ebay and the like...they are genuine motorola parts. Rumor is they are intended for export only though.

It's good to get two of these as when they break you can send one back to motorola for repair (free), but it takes about 8 weeks turn around.

I have one of these, which I haven't used for about a year. It was ok in an office or quieter environment but on the road I had trouble making out the voices over the road noise. I looked around to see if there was some kinda hack that would sacrifice battery life for more volume but I came up dry. Seemed like my complaints were shared by a number of others on the same quest.

This is a great price if you plan to use it in a quieter environment or have a really quiet ride. Thanks for the deal!

You should seek a job in reviewing things. I fully understand why it's bad.

I wasn't aware the criteria to post a reply in this forum was to write a review. Maybe when I find as much time as you seem to have I can write reviews for those of you who expect to see them in Anandtech hot deal threads.

The point wasn't to write a review, it was to state an opinion. You want a review, go to a review site.

Since you are stuck to a ball and chain in your current life perhaps spending time more valuably would be smarter.

It's ABSOLUTELY worthless when someone just says product X is great or terrible without adding anything to that.

Not NEARLY as worthless as somebody who is too lazy to use Google.

Stuck to a ball and chain? Well look at that, the lifer wants me to spend my time in a more valuable manner. Ha!

Clearly your life is very fulfilling, and you create a ton of value to society. Why else would you get your panties in a bunch about me not writing a review of a headset in a hot deals forum?

Way to come into the thread and add value!

My panties aren't in a bunch, it's you that became defensive over this.
