Motorola M68HC11EVB Evaluation Board

I have looked in the Users Manual and all the other manuals I could find and have not been able to find the Port Address that are used thru U1 the
PRU MC68HC24. If any one could help Please let me know.

from what i can find it replicates ports B & C. therefore it should use the smae addresses that the HC11 already assigns to those ports.

after reading more i'm guessing your using it for expanded memory which is always fun :/

i've done some work on the hc12 board back in college, in our lab we had to construct our own ram with given ram chips and wire them to the board with some logic. i recall that the board had a jumper or setting for extended memory mode. once put in this mode the microcontroller already allocated any new memory to a certain address range. i believe for us it started at $1000

you might want to look around for details on the extended board and the support the microcontroller gives to it and what it would allocate.

68HC24 chip provides the additional two ports, PortB & PortC.
PortB is output only, register address: B004
PortC is Bidirectional,
- Data register: B003
- Data Direction register: B007

You are right about being the same . After reading Section 7 The Parallel I/O section about a dozen times today it finally dawned on me .It was on the first page which I most always bypass.
