Mouse choice validation please

I was going to suggest a G400, but they seemed to have jumped in price recently. Maybe Logitech caught on they were making a good mouse and reacted accordingly.

I can't find any information on the sensor so it's hard to really say no. To be honest, mice performance gets overblown so even if there is some flaw in tracking, the majority of us humans won't even notice and subconsciously adapt. The only thing I can say is it looks like you need big hands for it. If you think it is a good fit, here is one vote for going for it.

You wont find a better mouse for $37.. The sensor is awesome. Its nice upgrade from G400. I use mine on hard plastic mouse pad @ low dpi.

I personally notice the difference between laser and optical.
Even a cheap laser mouse seems to have more instant feel than an expensive optical.
This is my own personal experience, others might disagree.
I just know if I move an optical mouse fast on the pad the cursor don't keep up like a laser mouse does (FPS gamers, not office/school computers).

Other than this, mouse choice is all personal preference (ie: buttons, shape, feel).
