Moving My Sites

I'm looking to switch hosting companies. My current host uses DA. The new host uses CPanel. For someone like me who knows nothing about these things, how difficult will this be to move from one server to another?

i host several site's but currently use only 2 different servers
4 are currently on GoDaddy
and one is on 1&1

i have used others before
the only difference between all the admin panels i have
used is where the data is
once u figure this out it's easy and they all do the same thing

it?s like using MS word and open office word
they will do pretty much the same thing but had the same
options under different tab names
and of course MOST of the options are under the same tab names

I really think you won?t have any problems figuring it out in a few minutes

I don't think I made myself understood.
What I meant was the actual physical move, the migration of my two domains from my current host and DA, to the new host and CPanel.
Once the move is made I'm sure I'll be able to learn the ins and outs of CPanel, and the differences between the two.

well that could be real easy or a real pain in the butt
but I think you would be better served on a dedicated web hosting forum

the front end DA or CPanel should have no effect on how you will
move your site as long as you?re staying with the same OS
(Linux or Microsoft)
you will need to make a local back-up of your current site on your HD Via FTP
and up load your new site VIA FTP

if u use CPanel to upload your site old site this will be a pain in the butt
because CPanel and DA will only let u do a few files at a time
where FTP u can do the whole site at once
