MS Word oddity

My work computer has apparently gone a bit crazy. it will show { Page } or { Date } and not the numer or date, It prints just like it should, so its not something that is horrible, just annoying. anyone know how to fix it?

If you right click the number or date, is the Toggle Codes option there?
