eVGA has the best warrenty out there, coolbits has a slidy bar that you can oc with all staying in the warrenty, just for that get the eVGA. Even a noob like me can oc it.

I have been using my MSI 7800GT since sunday. Using the overclocking software that CAME WITH IT, I already have it running smoothly at 500/1220. On Doom 3 (with FPS turned on and the FPS uncapped) I was getting 150-400 fps on high settings with AA/AF disabled (though it did dip down to about 40 once for a half second). I am entirely happy with my purchase and would buy it again. Didn't bother with Chronicles of Riddick though. Maybe because the movie put me off.

im sorry but some people have zippy idea what is going on.

1. coolbits is a driver implementation. all nvidia cards can use coolbits
2. msi is not a bad comapny. It has never been such a big player but it's quality is at least above average
3. ocing is not comapny based, it is core based ant so it is completely random. Cooler affect it somewhat but on stock 7800gt cooling, it will be random which company gets a higher oc and which gets a lower due to the silicon itself supplied from nvidia.
4. Chronicles of Riddick is a good game. Got great reviews. Not typical FPS fare but it;s pretty good.
