MSI K7T PRO2 - worth waiting for?

Tried to get a K7T PRO2 at Mwave -
They had an incorrect description and the same SKU as the PRO. Will ship a PRO2 at same cost in 3 weeks.
Is it worth waiting for?

At this point, I believe the answer is Yes. I was one of the fortunate who got the Pro 2 from Mwave. So far I'm waiting on heatsinks before unlocking some durons and testing it.

humm.. does that mean I didnt get the PRO 2.. Mine only says K7T PRO on the box.

I picked it up and the SKU number was the same.

Compuwiz do you hav eht box in which the Mobo came in. What kind of graphic does it have on top.

I believe that it is currently shipping... A couple of members on this forum have the board already.

Anyways, to answer your question, yes. It has the same great features (D-LED, among others), same supreme stability of the original K7T Pro (capacitors almost the size of AAA batteries), plus it has multiplier control, meaning you can overclock your processor by changing the multiplier, providing you have an unlocked Socket-A processor (Duron or Thunderbird).

The_good_guy, my box says MSI K7T Pro2 The board has the 7 4700uf capacitors, gold heatsink and says pro2 between the pci slots. It is the genuine article.

I also got my PRO2 from Mwave.com.

I think I heard a few reports where mwave has shipped Pro2 to some people and Pro to some people.

Guess I got lucky.
