MSI MEGA 651 & 865

as seen above, i'm thinking about getting one and building an HTPC w/semi-old parts while updating my PC.

Anybody have experience w/this thing?

I'm working on my #4 MEGA 651.....great little computer that requires a few mods to run cool and quiet.

Everything I learned, and practically everything you need to know is in this thread..

I have the MEGA 651, but I'm not a adventurer/modding person, so I didn't change much in the current setup, besides tidying up the wires a bit, to allow for more cooling (I have a 9600 Pro). Bluefront has done quite a lot of modding, he'll fix you up with any info you need.

Except that I didn't modify the CPU at all, not even the "bent pin" trick... and it works just fine.

I'm really pleased with the little computer, and would recommend it to anyone who wants a SFF.
