Then you simply have had your eyes closed. I just quickly googled "Boycott Fox News" and Boycott Limbaugh and there were quite literally hundreds of results.

Yea, but you don't see any news about Democrats yelling Lets ban and black ball Fox news, now do you? Nope..

Only if I actually look into it do I see the calls to boycott right wing media by Democrats. Case in point from last month.

http://www.mediaite.com/online/dnc-...e-daily-caller-the-rush-limbaugh-of-websites/

In an Thursday email to supporters, the Democratic National Committee set its sights on conservative news site The Daily Caller, calling it “the Rush Limbaugh of websites” for its enabling the radio host’s most recent controversial remark about women

My mistake but it makes no difference. Thinking 500 people is a significant minority is still ridiculous.

Oh, I agree, it makes no big difference. He made an assumption that didn't have a factual basis and used wording that vastly exaggerated the situation.

This isn't event the same thing. Here you have a prominent member of the Republican party Reince Priebus calling for an all out Boycott of MSNBC, but you have never seen any Prominent Democratic member call out for a flat out boycott of Fox news for all the crap they have been slinging. What you linked has to do with Limbaugh's radio show and the public getting upset with him and wanting to boycott anyone who advertised on his show.

Like I said, Que the feigned outrage over something so slight, and also very much correct, because Fox News and others had an absolute cow about this commercial when it first came out. They had to shut down the youtube comments because there was so much crap about it. They even pulled the commercial because they didn't like the little bi-racial girl in it.

MSNBC shouldn't have to apologize for speaking the truth.

HAHA, you gotta love lefty-"logic".

RNC calls boycott="prominent member of the Republican party!"

DNC calls boycott ="the public getting upset and wanting to boycott advertisers."

The most offensive thing about MSNBC is that they continue to play the Fox game.

This is all intentionally directed scandal to reinforce that they are "your enemies," Fox people; that you are "not one of them."

It's part of the Fox/MSNBC schtick. It seems neither can exist without the other these days, as politics and media has become a tribal team sport.

The word sheeple comes to mind.

You should keep yourself better informed then. Perhaps it's because you watch a sub-standard news provider like MSNBC. You can find many more if you cared to look.

So MSNBC does asshat stuff and its Fox News' fault?

I will never understand the liberal logic. Never take ownership, its always someone else's fault.

That literally happened, though. Not the entire right wing, but a significant minority raised a huge shit about a biracial family appearing in a Cheerios commercial. This is basically just showing that commercial again.

Are you guys not aware of this, or just conveniently ignoring it?

lowut?

I never blamed Fox. I blamed MSNBC for playing the same stupid games.
Fox's model worked so well, that network yahoos thought that rather than put together a worthwhile media outlet, to just clone the same bullying paranoia-driven, soft news mindset, but with a liberal bent.

The reality that has developed is that the entities are now co-dependents, just like their viewers.

You know we could all dig up some really crazy, offensive shit that the Republicans have said, and their loudmouth pieces like Rush Limbaugh, but no one has ever demanded they be fired or make apologies. This little tweet by an MSNBC staffer is not that egregious in my opinion, and to a certain extent is spot on with all those Republicans and RW's who were upset at this Cheerios ad to begin with. Some of the most hateful things were said on Fox news about it, but not one person was fired, nor did the Democrats say they were going to Boycott Fox news.

This is just petty immature, typical crap from the right... as usual.

MSNBC does something wrong and the Conservatives (and Fox) are still blamed.

I love that. :awe:

I am not going to waste my time, this is just a bunch of nonsense, finger pointing crap. The point is, I have yet to see Democrats call out for an outright ban or blackball of Fox news or any other RW media outlet.

What was said was not nearly as offensive as all the crap RW's have been spouting since this President came into office. Priebus is a prick and an idiot and most folks recognize that except for the knuckledraggers.
Don't you think that might be because you aren't paying attention to them and focusing entirely on Fox/Conservatives?

But does wanting Fox News "defunded" count? Or how about calling for censorship (governmental "shutdown") of the Fox News channel? Check out Journolist some time.

You watch too much MSNBC to pick up on such childish and rather idiotic anti-fox/conservative insults. :whiste:

And why did you go from "you won't find any Democrats" to "prominent Democrats"?

I think the Internet is the biggest factor in that. Look at the Richard Sherman tweets - http://deadspin.com/dumb-people-say-stupid-racist-shit-about-richard-sherm-1504843629 Are these all Republicans or Democrats? No, they're just assholes.

There are just a lot of loud racist assholes on the Internet.

In a related story... The truth continues to hurt. News at 11...

That Democrats are race-baiting dickheads who use black people for their own political purposes?

Yeah, that particular truth does seem to have you and the rest of the Democrat faithful quite butthurt...

500 dislikes on YouTube! Oh the humanity!
Some MSNBC intern tweeted something mean! Oh the humanity!

No shit, it's hardly the end of the world, but the scenario people were saying was a ridiculous MSNBC fantasy was a reality. Rightwing people did get upset about a commercial airing with a mixed-race family. Not all right wing people. But right wing people. There's still racism in America. Accept that, condemn it when it pops up, and move on.

And for people asking for proof that people objecting to mixed-race families by talking about 'negroids' are conservatives, are you serious? Anti-miscegenation sentiment is by definition conservative (or even more accurately, regressive, but those are basically the same in today's Tea Party right wing). I'm sure you can find a few non-white people objecting to mixed race marriages, especially in foreign countries, but do you seriously think the people objecting to this poll are not predominately white? http://www.gallup.com/poll/163697/approve-marriage-blacks-whites.aspx "Ninety-six percent of blacks, 84% of whites approve" of mixed-race marriage. If you want, I'll find the additional polls that show that sentiment is concentrated in the South, where people are much, much more likely to be conservative, but I have a hard time believing that's really necessary.

This whole non-issue is like if Fox News tweeted "time for the left wing to call for gun control" in response to a gun ad going on during the Superbowl, then the DNC chairman demanding an apology for this super mean accusation because not every left wing person cares about gun control. Left wing people have called for gun control, in reality, and also the DNC doesn't speak for all 'left wing' people (nor do attacks on 'left wing' people equate to attacks on Democrats). Right wing people have bashed this commercial for showing a mixed race family, in reality, and also the RNC doesn't speak for 'right wing' people, nor are attacks on 'right wing' people attacks on Republicans.

Like 'significant minority' is supposed to actually mean something? Are we really going to allow the hacks around here get away with setting the bar that low?

Lol! Says the hack who just got butt hurt in another thread because he was called out for using intentionally vague language.

Well, or we can just read your own link:
Americans living in the South are slightly below average in their approval

With slightly below average meaning 83%

This tweet never happened. As of lately it is absolutely impossible for MSNBC to talk about anything other than the fatty and some lanes on a bridge being closed.
