Multi-touch monitor for Modding?

Hey all!

Does anyone know where I could get a multi-touch screen for use in modding projects? I'm able to find regular single-touch monitors pretty easily, but I haven't been able to find anything reasonable in the multitouch area (3M offers a developer pack for $1700). I'd like to make a multi-touch tablet-style PC from scratch, and am looking for the right monitor.

Albatron has been previewing them but no cost estimates out yet. Some sites claim just 20% more than normal display.

Ugh - single touch is for the birds! I demand multi-touch. It can't come quickly enough!
