I personally have no experience with the stuff though. Being a broke high school student having to save up for college next year doesn't really make it easy. Forcing me to get all my nutritional needs from whole foods alone anyway. I will probably pick up some protein soon though.

So, if you guys still think it's a ripoff, so be it. I'm no expert here, and I haven't really looked at much protein myself either. So take my advice on training and eating, but you may want to look elsewhere for supplement advice.

You can't gain much in a month but you should focus on the large muscle groups when aiming for size and strength. Chest, upper back, and quads/glutes. You build up these 3 and the rest follow.

You really don't want to mix them.

Take casein before bed and one of the best forms is good old cheap cottage cheese.

no to hijack, but i am 5-11 about 190 i think my muscle mass is perfect, i just need to lose some weight, i have a gut and starting to get some man boobs. what would be the best way to lose just weight. i have worked on my feet for the past 10 years and i hear that your body gets acclimated to your work out, so i assume that running/jogging/walking wont do much. what should i do besides eating better?

Everyone is different.

Heavy lifting burns fat well for me.

HIIT (not to be confused with HIT which is totally different) is really popular now for losing weight fast. It's basically you run all out 1 min, then walk 1min....rinse repeat. (this is a general blurb...you actually start out doing it for like 30secs each or something)
