Music in videogames

hey, Im wondering if there is anyway that you can turn tracks from video games into mp3's.

Ive been playing Tony Hawk Proskater 4 a lot lately, and have become hooked on a band featured in the game. Ive searched websites for hmv, musicworld, etc.. and pulled up nothing, I can't even find tracks to download off of kazaa.

Im wondering if anyone knows of a way to turn the .smo files that they are now into mp3 or another media format. Thanks

the music in FF does rock. As for the tape recorder I really hope it doesn't come to that... but I may get that desperate if I can't find another situation.

Or maybe use the output for digital input on sound card and make a digital copy. Not the best but wth.

Music editing programs came out for the other Tony Hawk games, I'd look for something that can dig the mp3's out of whichever archive contains them in the game install.

No. The music in Kingdom Hearts was extremely repetitive and annoying. I'm usually a fanboy of anything Square, but the music in Kingdom Hearts definitely dropped the ball. The game did rock though, just eventually had to put on other background music and play on mute.

I can't stand music in FPS games or driving simulations... it annoys the crap out of me... but in a game like Tony Hawk or GTA, it's not bad.

I'll let you know if I changed my mind when I get to the end of it. I'm on the underwater/Little Mermaid level right now, haven't played in about 2 weeks. So far, aside from the intro music/movie where the main character starts the game I have been extremely dissappointed. It'll be tough to make up for all the crappy music from earlier in the game though.

well err.....i dont want to say too much, but its a great ending...errr.....well.....i can't really say anything about the ending...but since i'm a sucker for love story things...thats why i like it.... I can help with pointers...the game once you sit down and play it is really easy...i havent had the time to play "difficult".....but yea
