I got a brand new computer that can easily run 1440p games and for some reason, it can't launch MW2 (2022). I use u/battlenet so when I hit the play button it would usually close out of the launcher, show the load screen, and start the intro to the game. But this time with this new computer when I hit the play button, it doesn't close out of the launcher, and the loading screen loads all the way but just stays there, stuck forever. I've tried every video on youtube and even emailed u/Activision and u/battlenet about it and did their bullcrap troubleshooting and still nothing. I have the game working on my laptop just fine but not for my desktop, I use a 6700xt with an i5-11600k, and 32gb ddr4. Please if anyone has had the same issue please help, I feel like I'm the only one and it hurts that I can't play my game on my new computer. Yes, I've deleted and re-installed the game more times than your mother saying "harder" on a Friday night. (Don't take that personally)

It’s a real legally acquired version of the game correct?
Other than that what’s your internet speed and are you 1000% certain you completely uninstalled it and then reinstalled it?

Yes, unfortunately, I preordered this unfinished game too so that kinda sucks. Anywho I have 1 GB speed and my game is legit, bought it off of Blizzard Entertainment. And yes I deleted it and re-installed it. And if you don't think so, then recommend me a program to download that has access to my files and access to deleting them completely, I won't do it cuz I don't trust shit that does that. I deleted the game by going to battle net and hitting the uninstall option, then I made sure by going to my program files and dragging the Call of Duty folder to the trash to be permanently deleted.

Not sure this is out of my scope other than update your video card driver and ensure the game is saved on a ssd or NVME, avoid a spinning hard drive.
If that fails reach out to Blizzard.

Updating the GPU was the first thing I checked, and it's on m.2 SSD, I already reached out to Blizzard/Battlenet. My problem is one of a kind.

I play the steam version, but i can say, the COD games can be buggy in weird ways. One thing you can check is Windows software issues: to start, are you on Windows 10 or 11? And what Windows update version? To start with, you could try making sure Windows is up to date with the latest feature update and other updates. You could also try running sfc /scannow and chkdsk /f. If you still can't get the game to load, you could try reinstalling battle.net, or even a fresh install of Windows.

Another thing to do would be to test/troubleshoot hardware, to make sure the new computer doesn't have any unstable parts. What NVMe drive are you using? Could always double check its SMART reading to make sure there are no issues.
