I was the guy with the floppy problem... I had the cable backwards like everyone said! lol! Anyway happily running my Duron 700 @ 927 Mhz. Here are the specs...
Duron 700 @ 927
MSI KT7 Pro 2a
384 MB Generic pc133 - Cas 3
IBM 20 GB ata 100 7200 rpm
AIW Radeon
Asus DVD 8x
Ricoh 7060a
Inwin Q500A
Using integrated sound... it's not that bad!
Temps are very low using the Taisol 742 big @ss hs/fan (using Sunon fan instead of the factory taisol one, 26cfm instead of 21cfm). Had to file down one corner though. Case temps are 22c. CPU idle 32... full load around 40-42c. Any multiplier above 8.5 or FSB above 110 gives me funny beeps and errors... so i run it at 8.5 x 109. All on Win2K Pro. I'm very impressed! Might even upgrade to a 1 Ghz AMD Thunderbird just to give AMD some business! Pencil to O/C and Artic Silver to help out. All those Intel lovers out there, give AMD a try, you'll really like it. Later. Oh btw, this kicks the crap out of my friends P3 800...hehe.
