My wife and I set a goal each year, we've been doing ok recently so we bumped up how much we budgeted for it. We've got our direct deposit for our paychecks set up to dump a percentage of each paycheck into a separate account. When we see something we want to give to something we pull the money out. If you don't plan to do it and set the money aside ahead of time it's much less likely that you'll do it.

This year a good chunk of it went to a local charter school that's getting off the ground. They were trying to get money for a used copier and a bunch of books to create a small library.

Cool story bro, but I have never heard of someone that gives to charity on the lower levels needing to set up dedicated accounts.

I am sure they loved the $20 you sent in.

I have posted a $100 humane society I just did for the lulz here not to long ago, I am sure you should have a few receipts.

It was a joke in response to me not knowing that max performance summer tires may have short lives.

I do believe the proper response to this is "lolz", right?

C'mon, dude. The guy throws you a compliment and you can't be bothered to give him a real answer? Grippy tires, though - going to track it at all?

?

I have been running Goodyear Asymmetrics / GS-FD3 or PS2's for over a decade now. My 240SX wears PS2s

If I was looking for dedicated track tires though the Pilot Cups would be my choice for a tire I could drive to the track.

I plan on hitting a few BMW events, with BMW back in the lemans; Sebring will have the BMW corral open again.

Need? No. Makes it easier to keep track of? Yes.

I could use a spreadsheet to keep track of the money but it's easier to just have our direct deposit dump a few hundred each month into a separate account. That way if we go a few months without giving anything away we don't forget and spend it on something else. Also, all the transactions coming out of that account are charitable. I can look at that account history and know exactly how much we've given for the year and to who without having to dig through all the other transactions on my main account.

It's something my wife and I like to do. We don't have infinite amounts of extra money so we have to plan it out and work it into our budget. If you don't believe me, that's fine. I'm not doing it for the recognition of some troll on the internet.

SWEET! They shipped super sports and I snagged them for the same price!

They got my steering wheel crooked on the alignment in Orlando tonight at bonnet creek Hilton so have to handle it Monday.

May have a buyer for my 240sx tomorrow.

Florida has a ton of tracks. I think we have one of the highest amounts per capita.

Not bad, but I think it would look even better if the whole insert "cut out" section was blacked out.

eg

Not an M3 but you get the idea. All CF that large a section would look too tacky of course, just bumper + rough texture black plastic insert/cutout + center CF diffuser / exhaust trim that you have. If that's possible at all, not sure if those pieces snap in and out or if it requires a whole new bumper cover. If not, then a matte wrap or power coat of the inset section would be fine too.

although super sports are newer than the ps2s they are generally cheaper given that they are made in the US vs France. If I was being a stickler I would try and ask for some credit or money back.

But lucky you as the PSS are better than the PS2's, in fact I just got a set for my boxster.
