You are so right. When i read this, i was sad, but i don't know...I just get this peaceful feeling about this whole situation. I'm not saying i'm happy, but he's definantly in a better place. He deserves it.

To even begin to suggest that we should be happy because this person died in a 'Christ-like manner' is simply sickening.

I found lebe's response to be very inappropriate. I guess our taste simply differs?!

To glorify a religious ideology through the death of someone is a despisable act.

I am sorry to hear that, I know what it's like to be saved by someone. My best friend pulled me from a burning building because I was unconcious. Not a day goes by that I don't think about him, he didn't die, but I can only imagine how great those kids must feel for being alive right now because of your friend.

My brother was a customs inspector in mexico, and a car went in to a river, and he had to dive in and save a pregnant mother trapped in the car 14 feet underwater. SHe survived, so did her baby!!! But, her son was washed away in the river and died. My brother's story was on the show "Customs Undercover" or something like that, forgot the name.
