Next time someone or something suspicious is going on you might think about calling the cops out to hassle the person. Strange people walking around the neighborhood asking to take furniture is one of those situations (unless they are driving a salvation army van).

Same sh!t happened to me at school last year. I was living in a fraternity house at the time, and two a$$hats broke into my room and stole my PS2, my laptop and like 50 dvds :|:|. My roomates and I found out who it was through a friend from another fraternity. He said that a few of his brothers were braggin about stealing some stuff, and he didn't think it was right, so he told us. So my roommates and I went over to their room and sure enough, our stuff was RIGHT ON THE TABLE! Fvckers.

So we took our stuff back, and left them a nice thank you message. I can hear them now, "Hey, why does my pillow smell funny?? What is this lump in my pillowcase???? AHHHHHH!!!!!"

Cover the pawn shops around the campus area and also further down the road (down in the really bad parts of town and close to the metro line bus stops). Also, if you still have your warranty card info that came with your xbox, it'll have the serial number. Good luck, the odds are against you but you still have a chance.

PS don't go alone to the pawn shops.

We had a computer stolen from our office. Filed a police report and told the insurance company. A few months later, the police got it back. The computer had been taken apart and rebuilt in another case. I have no idea how they figured out it was ours.
