My Husband is TOAST

Over the past 6 months since the parents in law found out we were married they have been sending little parcels, for the most part they have been cooking related (the mother in law is trying to make sure this white girl can cook proper Japanese cuisine for her son).
Anyway, today a parcel arrived with mochi, socks, kitchen linen and a pair of big white satin panties.

I couldn't help myself, I LMAO...
I took a photo wearing my new undies and sent it to my hubby... and told him over several emails that I was L'ing MAO...


That toad CCed ALL my emails including the photo to his parents....

I am so embarrassed, My MIL is a sweetheart and meant well... I just found it funny (they are HUGE) and now its come back to bite me on the arse.

LMAO! A "sweatheart"? Perhaps a typo, but I suspect it reflects your true feelings.

Well, maybe your hubby was sharing it in good spirit too? Isn't it your intent that matters? If you meant it in good-spirit/humour, I don't see why your in-laws would or should be grudged. Don't you think your in-laws have some sense of humour? I would hope they do. If they don't, that's too bad.

luvly - yes the pictures are mine. As for whether they have a sense of humor, well, you have to take into account that my MIL was born and grew up in Japan. She is also in her 70's, so gift giving is very important to her.


Actually I just recieved an email from my Father-in-Law thanking us for the Christmas presents we sent, and there was no mention of the emails that my hubby sent him and definitely no mention of the photos. Checking the time stamps they had definitely recieved my 'undies' pictures before sending their email...

I think I will go and drown myself in my new undies.
