Well I've been on X5 forums for almost a year so I've seen quite a few combinations and this stuck with me the most. Black wheels on a white car isn't my taste, personally. The one thing I can definitely do to improve it is get the style 214 20s but those staggered 20s are very bad for winter driving... like slip'n'slide style.

A friend of mine has an X5 with the V8 and I'd have to say it is hands down the nicest SUV I've ever driven. Handling and road feel is excellent, brakes are excellent, luxurious, lots of power, and it just feels tight all around.

In all seriousness though, I love X5s. Not a fan of BMW sedans, but the X5 drives awesome. Good choice and congrats.

As for the people asking- why white? I have a black audi and I think that black cars actually look more dirty than white cars do when not perfectly cleaned. However when cleaned and shiny...black paint just looks great.

There's threads of people on the forum with black X5s complaining about how hard they are to keep clean... they are beautiful when they are though, which is not for very long.

I don't know if or why it'd be different from any other black car, but I don't have many complaints about mine. I just wash it regularly and use Klasse All-in-One and High Gloss Sealant Glaze a few times a year.

nonsense, good rims are an excellent add on. Some nice 21" Lexani's on that would be super sick! You could argue after market rims are a waste of money, especially a brand like Lexani which can cost over $100,000 for the jewel encrusted ones But they can add so much to an already killer auto, the X5 is such a nice car it can only improve what's already sweet. Nice rims are nothing but a luxury, but at the same time so is an X5. A Nissan Xterra will do basically the same thing. I wouldn't go extreme with 24"'s that are too blingy but some nice, subtle rims ++++! that's just my opinion though.

if I got an X5 first 2 things I would do would put some rims on it and upgrade the stereo to something crazy.
