My Sago Palm....

She's coming in nicely...she has 7 pups plus the original one (in red below - original is top one of left and there are 2 are on the back side)....also pic below of 'before' pics from 3 weeks ago when I cut off the all the fronds (which I do every spring)...she is about 10 years old I think...

Nice pics, that plant always catches my eye. Removing the old fronds before the new ones unfurl is also how we maintain many types of ferns.

Cycads (Sago) and giant tree ferns co-evolved as some of the first trees in the primordial forests.

Another update today....Two of the pups have sprouted their new fronds (these guys came out much faster than the one I posted about week ago) and the rest of the pups are about to start with theirs...
