The following pics are without the flash on. The LED fan is actually purple, but it always comes out blue in my pics, as do the purple highlights on the water tubing.

The radiator is set up with 2 fans in a push/pull configuration.

Loop goes from pump>cpu>gpu>chipset>radiator>reservoir>pump

My temps are (idle/load):

CPU: 34-36/41-43
GPU: 43-44/49-50
Case: 18-20/21-22

Looks nice, except your last link before the non-flash pics isn't working. I know I could do it manually, but I'm to lazy.

what kind of pump are you using and where is it?? Looks like your rad is up front and im guessing your pump is hiding behind your hd bays.

I'm using a DangerDen DDC pump and it's on the bottom left of the case. What else could I do to consolidate the wiring?

Well done, NIN. I'm not a wiring Nazi, so no complaints there. As long as everything is sleeved, well-placed and intricate, wiring can be fun to look at. If you wanted to try something different you could run as many looms as possible behind the MB tray a feed from there. Great job on the plumbing, BTW.

Thanks HW. I'm particularly proud of the plumbing now that I've redone it. I tried to run it behind the tray as there are cutouts for some wiring in it, but they are too small to fit a molex connector through and I didn't want to bother with hacking it up. If I did hide it all there'd be nothing to look at.....lol.

As far as taking better pics, it has more to do with the camera than me. I could have gotten awesome pics with my regular film camera, but my digicam isn't up to the task.....lol. I'd be open to suggestions or ideas on how to improve my pics with the digicam though....

I know what you mean. I get the willies just thinking about taking a dremel to my case. :Q There's something about the combination of your case, wiring and plumbing that just plain works. I especially like the openess of the front of your case.

It's open where it needs to be and cluttered where it has to be. The wires on this psu are not very flexible.

I can't wait to play with the venice core this weekend.

Yeah, getting a new cpu (well, I shouldn't say getting, it's sitting at home waiting for me!)....hoping it will clear up my problems with oc'ing and running my ram at rated SPD's, if not then it means I have a mobo problem, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed!

You have any pics of your rig?

Yeah, OCing hasn't been as easy as I thought it would be. The MB I have is extremely complex, at least to me.

Yup, I have to get them developed though. No digital camera currently. I'll get them developed and post next week sometime.

very nice NIN, it looks good in there, maybe try sleeving your cables with alluminum shielding to go along with that design scheme you got going there, GJ

Looks very nice, that was a case I was looking at for the rig I want to do.

Did you fit everything in there w/o modding? The only real difference is that I'm looking to have a 120.2 Radiator, would that fit in the front if I had.. **thinks** 4 items for 5 1/4" bays?

(I am IDing that correctly as the Thermaltake Armor, correct?)

yes, it is the TT Armor case. If you used the top four 5.25 bays You would most likely be able to fit a 120x2 radiator in the front. If you can get the dimensions of it I can let you know for sure if it would work. I did no modding at all to this case. I'm not quite comfortable with the idea of taking a dremel to my case just yet.

Looking at either a heater core (10 1/2" x 6" x 2") or a Black Ice Pro II (133x227x25mm)

Sorry for the two different measurements, Voyeurmods didn't list the heatercore in metric. Still havent decided between the two of them. On the one hand I hear a heatercore will work better, but on the other I hear that they take much more fanpower, and are sometimes a pain to install.

And I hear you on the dremel thing, I probably COULD do it, but would rather not have to, especially since most cases that are reccomended for a good WC setup are like $150-200

EDIT: The top 4 bays should be fine. Needing room for a DVD-RW, CD Drive, Resivoir, and possibly a fan controller. (Res COULD be changed to a different type if bay space is an issue)

The Black Ice Pro II would definitely fit, the heater core would be too wide to fit unless you modded the case.

Awesome, thanks.

Now I just need to figure out exactly what parts I want to get. I'm trying to make sure everything meshes perfectly, and a bunch of things are more in depth than I expected.

Good luck with it. Don't be afraid to ask questions here, there are quite a few helpful people.

April and May 2005 issues of CPU Magazine has an article on modding the Lian Li mid tower for Asetek's VapoChill Lightspeed phase change unit. The importan dimensions on the VaporChill unit and the TT Armor VA8000 series cases for modd purposes are the same as the Lian Li's (depth and width) and the layout of the bottom internals of the TT Armor and the Lian Li is similar so you should be able to use the Modding template (with a few slight modifications for screw holes and the like ) to attach the VaporChill unit or even a Prometia unit to the bottom of your TT Armor case thereby giving you the ability to bring you cpu down to TRUE subzero temps and overclock the beejaysus out of your Venice 3500+!! The mod designs can be found in the CPU Magazines April Issue starting on page 39 or go online to this link
