Destruction derby or Twisted Metal may be a better choice.

To answer a previous question, women have lower insurance premiums because they don't cause as much damage. Guys tend to drive nicer cars, and when they crash cars they REALLY crash them. Guys are also more likely to be involved in multi-car, shared negligence collisions.

Women are driving anywhere from 1.5-1.8 times as often as men when it's an at-fault accident though. They cause an untold number of little fender benders and single car accidents. Crashes like Spook's wife's are the exception rather than the rule.

However if someone just rear-ended you on a dead empty street with miles of visibility, or you see a busted headlight from "someone" pulling out of the garage and not paying attention to where they were going, or when some clueless dipshit takes a left turn in front of you when you had the green light, you're almost twice as likely to see a woman behind the wheel.

It's a vaguely funny joke and all, but it's also a dead serious fact: Women are vastly inferior to men at driving.

Who is paying for the new car? If its you, tell her to stfu and accept what you buy her. She is a new driver and obviously not a very good one at that. She is in no position to be demanding an expensive car from you.

3. She wants you to buy her another expensive car.
4. She's pissed that you're hesitating at buying one.

Where, exactly, did she get the notion that you owe her anything? She ruined your car and should be fucking ecstatic that you're willing to let it slide and get another one so she can keep driving.

Did her parents spoil her rotten growing up? Is there other information you're leaving out? What's the deal? Because as it stands now, her position sounds about as reasonable as that of a spoiled teenager, not a 30-year-old woman.

5.Litigation risk is real. The next accident could kill her/? and go way beyond your insurance and wipe you/her out.

Crazy as it sounds, get a cheap old Mercedes.

She will not roll it. She cant. And when you drive the older ones you know if she gets in a wreck that she will come home that night.

lol

Great plan! As reliable as Kia's are she will never get out of the dealership.

I think it goes beyond the point of just getting her a new car right now. I think she needs some proper driving lessons above all else. For example. before I got my license, I had a few weeks of drivers ed with a retired police officer who was certified to do this. The real risk in this situation is her involving other people in future accidents.

The tires are clearly in the air. They are designed to work much better when in contact with the road.
Turn car over and try again.

your wife appears to be an Asian female. They were never intended to drive automobiles...and it's not in their genes to learn how to properly do so.

EVERYONE knows this.

The most important thing is that she's ok. Iron & rubber can be replaced. That's why we pay insurance premiums. Family members are not so easily replaced...even when we'd like to...

was trying to refrain. Glad Boomer said it, though.

Next time hit the fucking animal instead of trying to swerve out of the way. It's much cheaper to replace your bumper, headlight and hood* than to get a whole new car, or even worse you end up hitting others.

*Assuming a larger animal. If it was a fucking squirrel then you got pwned.

Can I get a summary? All I've got so far:

Asian females can't drive
Pics are lacking
Accord V6s should not roll

Anything I missed?

I dont know if 'roll' is the right term, from what I gather she launched the car off the side of a tree!

I feel like I am going to die every time my girlfriend drives and I am in the passenger seat. That's probably not good.

Are you smoking something? After rolling the car over, you think they'll fix some dents and that'll do it? The car is totalled.

If they were cheaper, I'd say get a Volvo S60R like my dad. Its a damn volvo so you know it's going to be safe, and it has the safest traction control system I have ever driven. One day out romping with it my dad felt like making me piss my pants all over his leather, so he jerked the wheel hard right followed by left lock at 70. We did a 360 and that was it. I've never been so sure I was going to roll over before but I don't think its possible to roll one of those barring going sideways into a curb at 60mph

This reminds me of the Asian Female Bad Drivers thread (she looks asian anyhow).

I'd pretty much say no to the newer car, that is unless she's paying.
