Glad you won't be continuing your subscription... there are already too many kids who are looking for instant gratification. The last thing WoW needs is more of them.
If that part is addressed to me I'm 37.
And dont be so up the arse because someone finds a game you like not suited to them.
Its a game, instant gratification is what their for. If I do something that I have to put *that* much effort into I'll put the effort into work/family things.
But hey, horses for courses and all that.
Have a  and chill
While I won't dispute the general point of tastes being like arses, I will oppose the point about games being about instant satisfaction.
No, they're not always about instant satisfaction.
Much like any other form of entertainment, sometimes you'll jump right into the action(Doom for computer games, Tom Clancy for books, Arnold for movies), sometimes, it'll be suspenseful all the way through(Deus Ex for games, Se7en for movies, can't think of any English book titles right now), and sometimes it'll gradually move from a slow into to a more "intense" mid-end section(WoW, $MissingGoodFirlmTitle, Lord of the Rings).
Ever read Lord of the Rings? The Dark Tower? Etc.
Those epic stories tend to spend the first 1-200 pages just introducing charaters, that's bleeding boring in itself, but yet you keep reading, because you know it'll be important later on, and I know I sure wasn't disapointed in the cases I mentioned, both are awesome books, their "boring" intros are still part of it.
If you, at 37 years of age, can't endure a short intro, only to find your way to the "main course", then I feel sorry for you.
Again, I'm not saying you should like WoW, opinions differ(thankfully), but to say it should be funny before you've even seen 1% of what it has to offer, is, to be blunt, at best short sighted, or just plain stupid.
