My X800 XT Gaming Benchmarks

I thought you guys might want to check out some of my benchmarks.

My system:
Athlon 64 FX-53
1GB Corsair XMS 3200 DDR400
ASUS SK8V Motherboard
ATI X800 XT PE
All stock speeds

I'm currently using the catalyst 4.6 drivers. I used FRAPS to grab these averages so I expect the frames to be slightly higher than listed. All scores wee taken with the resolution at 1600X1200 with ALL effects and AA and Ans filtering maxed out.

1600X1200+all effects on+max AA&AF and still averaging almost 60FPS in every game...Only one thing you can say about that:

Those Painkiller numbers, all I can say is wow. That FX chip really puts the ATI card to good use. Max everything and nothing below 30FPS holy crap!

Can't a GF3 do over 100fps in CS?

Not with Steam :| Some 9800 cards actually had problems running 100 stable..

Does CS have a benchmark mode? If so, I'll see what I can do about sneaking something in.

Any chance you have benches done on a realistic system? (seriously, nice system)

I've got my X800 XT PE on pre-order, but have started to become slightly depressed lately after reading so much about the computer processor becoming the limiting factor with these new cards. I just assumed that my CPU was still "new". I usually run at 800 x 600 with 4x AA &amp; 16x AF on my P4 2.8 and ATI AIW 9700 Pro. Sounds like I'll get nearly the same FPS with the XT configuration, unless I really boost the resolution? Anyone have any insight?

PS: I know from reading around here that 800 x 600 is kinda low. I've just become so used to being able to see everything easily.

There are some console commands where you can bench the maximum fps your card can output in your current area.

Wow, those are some nice numbers. I was thinking about buying an x800xt pro but I going to wait unitl some price drop-age and when I upgrade my CPU.
