I just watched it about 2 hours ago. I thought it was a great movie, but the ending was too drawn out. They could have ended it about 10 minutes earlier and I would have been totally satisfied.

I just rented it from Netflix so I can speak to this. It's HORRIBLE. I was rather shocked at just how bad it was. I won't get into details for the sake of spoiling it for anyone, but seriously, it's one of the worst psychological dramas ever made. Horrible. I want to say something so bad to give you an idea of how lame it was but I can't spoil it for anyone. The ending was especially bad.

I saw it last night and I felt overall it was pretty good. I was disappointed with the ending because it left too many questions. It certainly isn't a feel good, happy movie, though. Rather depressing with the gritty, dark subject matter.

Excellent movie, I thought they did a great job adapting it from the book. Eastwood's score was abysmal however.

nah, not even worth downloading if you haven't rented it. I rented it and was very disappointed.

I like drama and suspense, but sh!t this movie moved slow.

Ditto. Both my wife and I knew exactly where it would end about 20 minutes into it. Technically a good film, but geez was it slow and gloomy. I like dark, gloomy movies at times, but I simply wasn't in the mood for such a plodding, depressing flick when we sat down to watch it.

the ending was kind of dumb, should have been something more interesting or clever or something. Not bad considering Clint Eastwood did it. Worth a watch but then again so is wheel of fortune lol
