name of books that rank colleges?

im trying to find out where a couple of colleges rank for my intended major. i know there are books, cant remember the names of em, do said books have a website? its kind of a chore for me to get to the library on foot.

My advice is to go to the college's website and take a look at the courses offered. Ratings basically go by the basis of what percentage of applicants were admitted to a certain program. Then e-mail some of the professors if you can find them and get some correspondence going. It's better than any book/website you'll find.
