The Department of Defense has identified 1,126 American service members who have died since the start of the Iraq war. It confirmed the deaths of the following Americans yesterday:

CAMACHO-RIVERA, Carlos M., 24, Sgt., Army; Carolina, P.R.; 368th Transportation Company, 11th Transportation Battalion.

LANGLEY, Sean M., 20, Lance Cpl., Marines; Lexington, Ky.; First Marine Division.

Mostly I thought of the families who lost sons and daughters in the war.
I read the ages of some of these soldiers, and cannot help but think of the families who lost fathers or mothers.
My condolences to all the familes left at home.
