NCAA 2008 Football

I bought it yesterday and I was able to play one game so far. I'm pretty impressed with it so far...what does everyone else think?

One question I have is the coaching ability. I like the idea of running a program but would rather call the the plays and coach the games than play them. Is this possible?

No co-op = no buy

I really don't understand why they have chosen to remove what has been a staple of football games forever. But so far co-op has been missing from the 360, and now PS3, versions of NCAA football.

Nope. You couldn't on the 360 version last year either. This year neither the 360 or PS3 supports co-op. It's ridiculous.

well that sucks. won't keep me from buying it, but it's still disappointing.

I'm not a huge fan of most sports games. They aren't the types of games I want to sit around and play by myself. I get the most enjoyment out of them by playing them when friends are over. I have a couple of friends that like to work through seasons playing co-op... I always find that fun. So take that away and you've killed the main reason I buy sports games.

that sucks, but to me its not as big a deal as co-op in a basketball game. man, those 2v2 nba live games in my college freshmen dorm were awesome.
