Nd Help with video card...

I have this GeForce Ti200 card and after I have installed the driver (newest from Nvidia) the computer asked for a reboot. Did that but for some reason the computer just sits there during bootup (where the XP logo is). The hard-drive doesn't read nor does the bar move. It never went into the desktop besides being stuck at that point. Tried too many reboots and formats.

I also tried with an ATI 8500 but this one is weird, too. My optical mouse won't move after I have installed the Catalyst driver. Also, the ethernet card just seem to disappear off device manager.

Anyone? Your help is appreciated.

did you disable virus protection before driver install?

If not, they you are fuxored.

Also, is the agp card the default vid device in your bios?
