NEC 20WMGX2 question

After all the great reviews I've seen on this monitor I've decided to buy it. One question I have though for anyone who owns it is what is the actual size of the screen. I'm coming from a 19in CRT screen and I'd like to know what the difference in screen size is. The NEC website has the screen dimensions but my understanding is that it includes the casing.

Think of it as 1inch bigger diagonally from your 19inch CRT

then maybe an inch or two on each side

What will really get you is the nice pixel pitch which is alot like a good old 1600x1200 CRT

The NEC 20WMGX2 is 20.1 inch diag - 17.04 wide and 10.65 inches tall for 181.58 inches square

Your 19" CRT is really 18.0 inch diag - 14.40 wide and 10.80 inches tall for 155.52 inches square


These are all viewable screen areas.
