3420 has DVD-DL support instead of just DVD+DL support.

3520A also supports dvd-r DL via a firmware update. as of now the 3540 is like $15 more than the 3520... not worth it for slightly increased speed IMO. im sure the prices of the 3520 will drop tho. im happy with my 3520.
