Need a new game recomendation

Ok, i like to play games, but the problem is i get bored with them after awile... Is there a good game you would recomend that would be fun, and keep mee from gettign bored after a week??

well i like action games, i like ones that are violent, ones that you can play on a pc... im not too picky

Have you tried the original Unreal? That was pretty fun and action packed.

I'd say get a MMO like World of Warcraft or Guild Wars, but you might not like the lack of directly control. But if they can hold your attention they'll hold it for a long time.

Try a fast paced RTS like Company of Heroes. Warhammer 40,000 : Dawn of War and its (stand alone) expansions are good too. Almost too much action there as it's pretty fast paced.

Hitman: Blood Money has plenty of violence, whether you want to play stealthily or guns blazing.

Best to check gamerankings or metacritic instead. Both take all the reviews they can find and produce an average score. Most people get bored of Doom3 quickly, even though its a pretty game. FEAR might be worth looking into too.

These responses are what I'd expect to read if you'd ask "what games did you like a few years ago or during your childhood?" People's memories tend to make things seem better than they actually were.

Chronicles of Riddick ... outstanding in every way although you might finish it in a week.

maybe STALKER ... kinda hard ... and a little RPG-ish ... awesome "atmosphere" and 'living world' .. Sci-Fi story
--perhaps PREY ... Quake4 ... Painkiller
