need a program

I have a webcam thats built into my laptop no the program I got only takes video, is there any other program that i can get that can take pics?

Its a direct show thing IS there a direct show Capture program that can take snap shots

you can try Active Webcam to take screens.
Also possible using Windows Movie Maker too

Save the short clip out and grab a still from Movie Maker.
