I know I shouldn't be asking people here to help me with my homework, but I desperately need some help to complete a homework assignment that was given to me. I'm supposed to interview a Vietnam veteran, but unfortunately, I do not know of any personally, nor do any of my friends know of someone who served in Vietnam. 1. What was your involvment in the war? (When and how long did you serve, what was your unit, what was your job supposed to be?)
2. DId you have any friends and/or relatives in the war and what was their involvment?
3. In your opinion, why was the U.S. in Vietnam? (what were the purposes of the war?)
4. In any way, yould you describe the war as a revolution? Why or why not?
5. What did the Vietnamese want? (South Vietnamese, North Vietnamese, and the Viet Cong)
6. Whhat do you consider as the major effects of the U.S. involvement in Vietnam? (perhaps list three)
