I just built a new computer
Gigabyte GA Z68AP D3
i5 3570K
8 GB ram
radeon HD 7850
Windows 7 64bit
the internet is very slow and keeps stopping for no reason. internet is fine on my laptop whether wired or wireless. The ethernet port on the motherboard lights up and the tray shows "internet access" and the device manager says the network controller is working properly.
I tried installing the latest drivers for the "realtek PCIe GBe" but it did not help.
the normal speed for my internet is 4mb/s download 0.6mb/s upload, but on my new computer the upload was only 0.15, after installing the latest driver for the network it went up to 0.3 but it is still only half of 0.6 (on my laptop currently) worse still it keeps stopping.
what is wrong? is there a physical problem with my mobo?
