Hi, I recently purchased a Trendnet TV-IP110W wireless internet camera.
The wireless is working and I can view the camera on my LAN by typing 192.168.1.10:1024
in my browser. I cannot view it inside or outside my network by using my WAN ip address.
My WAN ip address is not static, but it has not changed in 6 months.
I have the router set up so that 192.168.1.10 will always be assigned to the camera's MAC address.
I have port 1024 forwarded to 192.168.1.10 in the router set up.
I have a working apache server (http) on port 80. I mostly just use this to load pictures for veiwing away from home
I can access my router menu outside the network by using my WAN ip and port 8080.
I've tried assigning the camera to port 80 (after disabling my other server), port 8080, port 8000 and now port 1024.
I'm really not very knowledeable on networking, and it's highly possible I'm just doing something stupid, but I've run out of things to try.
Any ideas?
Thanks
