IMO.

Edit: Put it this way, if we have to tell you what to say, your chances of botching up the job are 10x greater. If you improvise, your chances are much better..

that's pretty good advice other than that, just be yourself!

Ok, tell me if this is right:

1. Be myself, talk normally. But not soley about sports and video games.
2. Dont be a push-over and dont be her shadow. Dont make her feel like your are chasing her.
3. Ask about herself and what she likes.

Is this it?

Any suggestions from a dating expert???

C'mon dude, your answer lies in your first post. Somehow you know she's interested in the same things you are, be it the choir, or music or whatever. Just use that to start your conversation, figure out what you talk to your male friends about (filtering out the women and flatulence discussions) and see if you two have other interests. School alone should provide ample conversation (complaining about math or the fight at your school the other day, or whatever)

Basically just combine this with good listening skills (women generally do like to talk more than men), which shouldn't be a problem for you, since you seem to like her for her *gasp* mind, and you should be fine.

Exactly! Just encourage her to talk. Women love to talk.

Whats wrong with that, may I ask?

Heh, nothing man. You're posting on Anandtech Off-Topic, where most of the girl threads concern physical appearances of women. Your thread doesn't.

I admit that a couple of years ago I went for girls based on looks, but now my tastes have evolved. Not that good looking isnt bad.

I mean, what else is there to do? You don't want to put on an act..
I agree! Start off by asking her about herself. Most girls like that because it makes them feel as if you are actually interested in them.

Catch her sitting down if possible and just pull it out and place it on her shoulder. She'll understand.
