My battery powered LAN chair. Like a wheelchair, only with leather.. And it tops out at 15mph too!

<< anyone have any good ones? >>

If you're in USA or Canada, set the voltage selector switch on the back to 230. I bet it takes a while before they figure out what the F is wrong with their computer.

Don't put it in 115V if you're in 230V country because you'll permanently blow out the PSU.

115V in 230V setup is safe, otherway around, it'd be up in smoke in one second.

Hehe done that one......

Another prank.... totally fsck up their 3d settings in control panel when they're not looking.... stick on 4x FSAA(especially if they have a card that can't handle it).... etc......

Change their background to pr0n.....

While they're not looking... send an email to everyone in their address book that says that they like to be spanked, and please call them........

Reset their CMOS settings.... pain in the ass for overclockers

I have more Ill post later

Oh, and don't forget about talking to people on their AIM list while they are away. A good one is to put something funny in their profile, and they wont notice it for a while....

Let me just say, that for this reason, I very very quickly adopted windows 2000, just for the "lock workstation" feature. I just lock it whenever i get up from the computer. It annoys some people, but I just tell them too bad...

Switch their LAN cable with different type. i.e. straight to cross-over or vice versa.

If you are playing CS, a funny thing to do is while they are away, and type: bind "+jump" "quit" .... so when they press jump there cs will quit... a better thing is to bind the primary fire key to quit... lol its always funny.

This is one of the reasons why I do not go to LAN parties anymore. Not a very big reason, because I can protect myself from this stuff for the most part, but I also never did this stuff to people, I only had it done to me.

I also quit going to LANs because the people loved to go out and get into mischeif instead of lounging on their computers, and I didn't have enough time to play comptuer games, and I was getting tired of playing computer games because I suck at them, and because I neeeded money, so I sold my gaming system, and I also wanted a real life, and to go to a party with normall people. I have done just that, and am perfectly happy. I wouldn't mind going to a LAN here and there, but I don'pt have a computer that can do it.

command-line fun.

net send <<machine name>> <<message>>

only works w/ win2k.

When they are playing a game, windows will switch to the Desktop and display your message.

<< Haha, DocSmarts is never going to hear the end of it. >>

Yup. Screwing up and taking it in the @$$ is one thing... doing that plus showing how your rear-end looks afterward a la the opening picture on a certain website that I will NOT name is another thing entirely, never mind trying to blame someone else AND commit fraud.
