need quick electic advice

Alright i wanna wire my pump to my psu. so heres my question, the pump powercord has a black and wire inside the power cord. Also can i just take a molex connector from an old fan and hook it up like that? I guess the real question is which wire is ground and which is the power? Black or white

do you know what voltage the pump runs on? 5/7/12 are the only easy voltages. and 7 only at low wattage

Is that pump 110v? Black and white are typically used on 110v cords...AC voltage, that is! The PSU only puts out DC voltage.
As far as AC is concerned, black is hot, white is neutral.

so i lost the plug that plugs into the wall so will any plug in work? just as long as i connect the right wire together

Pretty much, if you're putting a new end on the cord, the black wire goes on the gold screw, the white wire goes on the silver screw.
