need quiet, modular PSU

My current rig is like this:
C2D E7200 @3.2 w/ Zalman 9700
MSI p35
ATI 4770
4gb DDR2-1066
2x Optical Drives
2x 250 GB WD HDDs
PC P&C Turbo Cool 510 SLI
Antec 900 case with 4 fans


Basically I know I dont need a ton of power in my system, but looking for something quieter than my Turbo-Cool 510 unit, modular cables would be nice for cable management.

I was looking at the OCZ ModXStream 700w, which would give me enough juice for a CPU or graphics update down the road. Only $60 after MIR, but from what Ive read, most likely wont receive it.

Also was eyeing the Corsair 750w CMPSU-750HX model, but its about $100 more than the OCZ one.

Would like it to be 80 certified or better, and QUIET (at least compared to my current PSU). Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks

I'd say both are way overpowered, even considering likely GPU upgrades in the future. an Antec BP-550 (http://www.newegg.com/Product/...&ref=dynamitedata.com) is mostly modular and woul be strong enough to run a single top end GPU (4890, GTX285) or two mid-range (4850 CF)

thanks for the reply. I know the 2 I listed were overpowered, so I took a look around. Seen this today, http://www.newegg.com/Product/...x?Item=N82E16817341016 for $60 before a $20 MIR and its 80 Plus certified. Ive had a lot of Antec PSUs over the years and have liked them, but the ones I saw that were at leasta 80 Plus Certified were significantly more for an equiv rating. And from what Ive been reading, the OCZ PSUs are pretty decent quality.

The Corsair HX series is modular, quiet, reliable, 80+ certified. I have the HX620.

Seasonic M12II 430 would be plenty of power for your system.

I am like the op, wanting to build a fairly moderate system, but like the looks of the m12d. Am mainly attracted to the quiet. Is this much power overkill?

Well for the $, I'd probably consider:

It isn't modular, but it doesn't have alot of extra cables so it probably won't have much left from your build. It should have plenty of power for your current rig, but not leave much for upgrades. I don't know if that is something your considering, or are you wanting something a bit more??
