Need ram suggestions

Ok, i need your help guys. I need to know what the best possible ddr ram is right now for this setup. Reconfiguring my main rig again, and decided it was time for a ram update.

Anyways this is what i currently have before i finish the upgrades.

Abit IC7 G
p4 2.8c HT
512mb corsair 3700 ddr ( 2 256mb sticks running dual channel... this memory sucks.. but i couldnt get the 3200ll i had to run in this machine.. no matter what timing)
gf4 ti 4400 128mb
sb audigy mp3


Anyways, im dumping the audigy in favor of the new 7.1 Audigy 2 , and the gf4 infavor of a Radeon 9800xt. Now that leaves my memory as my main bottleneck... as i have to run it at terrilbe timings to get everything running stably. Figured that now, its a good 6 months since i built this thing, my memory options have expanded nicely. Following the suggestion here in anandtechs latest articles, i went looking for some ocz 3500 platinum, one of the paired 256mb sticks setup. However, i cant find this memory anywhere, although the 3200 version is quite common. Now heres my question, what should i look for with the ocz 3500 platinum so hard to find? Now i should probably mention, i have no intention of overclocking, so ddr400 is all i need. So i want the best memory i can get, that can run at the fastest possible timings. Now should i go with a gig of the ocz 3200 platinum? Or is there something else better that i should go with? Please help guys, ive had both the vid card and sound card for pushing 2 weeks now, and i want to get everything togeter soon , if only to make sure everything works. Running out of time on online store warrenty. Thanx.

Why not just use your Corsair PC3700, to try out the system?? Or did you mean PC2700? Anyway, the best possible memory at the moment seems to be one of these: Mushkin level 2, Corsair XMS ll, OCZ Platinum, or Kingston HyperX. They are all good memory, and PC3200 is pretty cheap right now, since so many people are overclocking, and buying faster ram.

Is a good point also on the mention of timings take a look at this article, goes a long way to showing what effect timings have on a system.

Thanx guys. Ended up going with a 1gb kit of ocz 3200 el platinum from newegg. Hopefully it will far better then my last set of 3200 ddr (corsair twinx 3200LL ... refused to run stable in dual channel... no matter what timings i had).

could have tried Mushkin level II black PC3500 @ rated timings of 2-2-2
but nvm.

I've got the OCZ PC3200 EL Platinum 1GB kit -- awesome memory.
