Need some advice on this

I need some advice on what to setup and/or which software to use

my current company only has 5 computers , and were currently expanding and hiring a lot of agents , what we want is for these agents to have their own account and be able to access them from any of those computers along with their personal files and folders

what's do you guys recommend ? what's the simplest way to setup this up

in short here is what i want

1. Allow the agents to login using their account from any on the Workstations

2. They should have a private folder located on the server to which they can save their personal documents . This private folder should get auto-mounted ( e.g as D: drive or maybe a folder on Desktop )

The situation you describe is the perfect use for a small business server/domain controller. The server will manage the user accounts and can be set up for roaming profiles so the desktop/settings/documents/etc. will look exactly the same no matter what computer a user logs in to. The server will also manage and store the documents folders for the users and those folders can be automatically mapped as drive letters or configured so that Windows uses the network shared folders as the default location for the My Documents/Pictures/Music/Videos folders or any other folder you want to have set up that way.

btw... what if some of my agents has notebooks , is it possible for them to 2 accounts ?

1. for their local profile , for use when their out in the field
2. for joining the domain , when their doing work at the office

They can use the domain profile all the time. Once they log the computer into the domain in the office, the computer will "remember" them so they can log in to that same profile while away from the office. It will just use a stored local copy of the roaming profile until the computer is reconnected to the server and any changes to the local profile (new favorites, files, etc.) get synced back to the main profile stored on the server.
