I need someone who's done a lot of OCing to verify my settings for me. My setup is:
CPU: Intel Pentium D 915 2.8 Retail
Motherboard: 775Dual-VSTA BIOS Version 2.60
Memory: Infineon 2x256 Paired 184 Pin DDR400 (HYS64D32300GU-5-B)
Video Card: ATI AIW 9700 Pro AGP
PSU: 430 Watt
HDD: PATA/100 Seagate 80Gig
For some reason the VIA AGP/Mem Bus and my ATI don't play well together and I can't run my ram at its default freq. of 200Mhz. It will work fine at 166MHz, but not 200. So I have to underclock it. In order to get my ram speed back up to ~200MHz, I figured I could just OC the CPU. So I've set that to 228MHz using CPU,PCIE,Async. I left PCI freq. alone. Here are my RAM settings.
Dram Frequency------------------------------ (166 MHz DDR333)
Flexibility Option------------------------------Disabled
DRAM CAS# Latency------------------------2.5
DRAM Bank Interleave----------------------4-Way
Precharge to Active (Trp) -----------------3
Active to Precharge (Tras) ---------------7
Active to CMD (Trcd-------------------------3
REF to ACT / REF to REF (Trfc) --------Auto
ACT (0) to ACT (1) (Trrd) ------------------Auto
Read to Precharge (Trtp) -----------------Auto
Write to Read CMD (Twtr) --------------- Auto
Write Recovery Time (Twr) --------------Auto
DRAM Bus Selection-------------Dual Channel
DRAM Command Rate--------------------2T Command
Dram voltage---------------------------------Auto
AGP Voltage----------------------------------High
Primary graphics Adapter---------------AGP 8x
AGP Fast Write------------------------------Enabled
AGP Aperture Size-------------------------64MB
AGP Staggered delay---------------------Auto
AGP GADSTB Output Delay------------Auto
V Link Speed---------------------------------Fast
IDE Strength----------------------------------Normal
PCIDelay Transaction--------------Disabled
I'm still not sure what it is or what it matters, but CPU-z reports my FSB : RAM raito as 6:5 and my freq. at 190MHz when I have there settings. Does all this look ok? Thanks
