Need some SERIOUS help with motherboard!

I'm putting in my new soltek nforce2 motherboard, and i can't get the thing to line up with the pci slot openings on my case, everything else is aligned except for those.

What do i do?

Probably just your case. Get your digital camera and post an image for me. By the way what case do you have?

Just a generic ATX case. I have no digital camera, sorry.

I mean, my other generic cases seem fine. Did I mount it wrong?

check if all the screw holes are correctly positioned

and yeah it could also be the generic case

Are the standoffs too short or something?

I think I got it. This board only has 5 pci slots so I guess the top slot is empty.
