Need suggestions on 480mm radiators

Just purchased a Thermaltake Core X9 which can accomodate 2 480mm radiators in the top. Are there any custom water coolers who can give me input on 480mm radiators?

Just got the Thermaltake Core X9 assembled. 2 XSPC RX480 rads plus an EK Coolstream 480 PE rad.

I've used an AX480 in the past, and it's a nice radiator. My only complaint is the size... which seems like an odd complaint. The thing is... it fits in your current case, but if you ever swap cases, most don't have great support for 4-fan radiators. At best you normally get 2x140 or 3x120 radiator support. I've thought about just setting up a loop on my GPU, but all I have left is that AX480, and I've considered giving my 900D (supports a 4x120 radiator) to my server to give it better support for more HDDs.

The EK Coolstream 480 PE is very similar to the XSPC AX 480. Now the 2 RX 480s are a different story. I was able to purchase 12 AP15 GTs. What remarkable fans.

But you can see how the RX vs TFC vs TC are..

too bad they dont make them anymore... but man.. they were a absolute BEAST...

i wish i had a case to fit them...
480's are just.... too big to fit conveniently inside anything...

anyhow gusk glad to see you went with the RX.
You cant go wrong with an RX is my motto.
They are excellent rads, which i wouldn't need to think twice to recommend.

aigomorla, you really need to check out the Thermaltake Core X9.

480 rads fit well
BTW, the RX480 V3 rads are VERY nice. I added the EK PE 480 Coolstream into the loop.

It depends, as there are 2 different kinds...
The normal ones, or the high speed nidac ones.

should give u an idea just how big my tube res is...
Even when skinnee came over my place he took a look at my res and went DUDE that's a big tube res...

so yeah... 4xddc's + 2xd5's in 3 loops... i like to separate out everything.
Although i dont need to, i could of left the board with the cpu... but im just picky like that.
