neighbors using my wireless

hi, brief favor to ask:

i have an agreement with the neighbors that they'll be able to use my wireless connection (upon its imminent arrival), but i'd still like to know whether or not they're using it. i'd apprecite it if somebody would inform me whether the average wireless router will tell me who's using it.

Yeah. Most wireless routers will show you the DHCP clients including the computer name.

They should. For example, my Netgear router tells me what devices may be attached at any given time, and includes information such as computer name, MAC address, connection time, xfer stats, etc. I would imagine these features are pretty common on most routers. There are also router logging programs that you can get that can give you much, much more information.
