netterm & linksys router (BEFSR41)

I need some help in getting netterm to work behind a linksys router. Has anyone got netterm to work with a Linksys router? If so, what configuration in either netterm or/and on the router.

I'm using winxp pro, securenetterm and the befsr41 linksys router. The firmware version on the router is 1.40.1 This is connected to a DSL. The netterm will work without the router connected and the pc connected directly up to the dsl modem.

I have e-mailed netterm techincal support and they had no clue on what to do.

Netterm is just a terminal app isn't it?
It just makes external connections on port 23, right?
It should "just work".

Or does it expect connections to come back from the outside?

Do other net apps work?
