Network account problem

I have three computers on a network all running XP Pro. When going into workgroups in network places, I can see all three computers, but when I try connecting to one of the computers, it asks for a user name and password. I never set up an account requiring a password. Is there a way I can turn this off? Any potential problems you all can forsee? Thanks guys.

Edit: They are all connected to a linksys wireless router, but connected through wires.

You probably are not using simple file sharing

(my computer>folder options>view>check the box labeled 'use simple file sharing')


IF
you keep it the way it is, you simply need to use the credentials of a user on the pc that you are trying to access. Unfortuantely, you will need to put a password on that machine. Make it like 123, so when you go sto start>run>

and type ' \\computername ' simply input the credentials
