ok, my grandpa needs net access in his office aboout 200 ft. away form where a useless wireless router is broadcasting from. There are many steel colums in the house...I think the router might be broken though since I don't even get a wireless signal when I am in the kitchen right below the office which it is in...anyway, anyone know if rr has a static ip solution? I thought they did for $10.95 a month extra or something, but their site sucks now...I could run a cable from the router to his laptop...or (the real Q) would using this thing called dynip (www.dynip.com) work like a static ip address? has anyone ever used it? Do I just need to set that up on his comp with another cable modem, and we'd be good to go? That'd be perfect but idk...someone help me out here...I gota get him net access tomorrow and idk which way I am gonna do it
