Just looking at options for faxing from PCs... I know XP has the built-in fax functionality, which is fine, but I'm looking at options as far as being able to share out that service on a peer-to-peer network. I read that this is not an option with XP's built-in feature, so...
Is WinFax the easiest/cheapest way to go for this? I think we'd simply be looking at one PC with a modem attached to the fax line, and want to be send faxes through that PC from any other machine. Sending faxes is the primary concern... recieving is not as much of an issue at this point.
I've also heard that some of the all-in-one devices out there could be used to accomplish this. Just asking for opinions on the easiest way to get the basic functionality (send documents from any PC through another PC w/ a modem). Thanks for any input.
Oh, and if anyone knows what kinda of licensing is required for this (do I need to buy multiple copies of Winfax?), that'd be cool too. TIA
